It was a remarkable tour. David was a fantastic host and an outstanding guide. He took us to some places that were truly amazing and the pace was relaxed, but we saw everything we needed to see. The accommodations were excellent and very traditional for Cornwall. As opposed to some tours where the guide is also the driver, David had hired drivers so he was able to concentrate on narrating the surroundings. It was the best tour we’ve ever had.

My Introduction to Cornwall

This was my first trip to Cornwall and I couldn't have had a better guide. We were introduced to its history and beauty at a relaxed pace. Each day allowed for free time to explore on our own as well as guided tours. I can't recommend Dacey's Cornish Tours highly enough.

Great Balance

I find the best thing about these wonderful tours is the balance they offer in things that are important to me. There is a great balance between larger attractions and smaller ones, between free time and planned time and opportunities to be social or not. David is a great host and the transportation is seamless and comfortable. The hotels are a fun mix and the food choices are great. Highly recommend

Visiting Cornwall Itinerary No 1

Yes, indeed it was a fantastic experience. Visiting the wonderful villages with their unique characteristics, greenery and the driving skills of some locals, mastering their ways through some exceptionally narrow roads are a few of the things that I ( coming from Malta, the smallest island in Europe) will remember Cornwall for. Not only…The well- kept centuries old castles with their enormous expertly looked after gardens, the breathtaking scenarios will definitely remain imprinted in my memory. Then how about you David, with your knowledgeable information, cheerfulness and the genuine love for Cornwall made this trip so fulfilling. I cannot but not also mention the small group who also contributed to make this holiday perfect. Their warmth and liveliness, made this experience a memorable one! Thank you all.

I loved all the different towns in Cornwall that Dacey Tours took us to. I have been telling everyone at home just how beautiful Cornwall is. I want to thank David for a wonderful early September tour of Cornwall. Itinerary 2, a wonderful experience!

My husband and I chose Itinerary 2 because it included seeing the Geevor Tin Mine. David is a great host, and our small group quickly became friends. We saw so many lovely towns. The tin mine was a highlight for me, because my ancestors were Cornish tin miners who emigrated to N. America. The Bodmin jail was also interesting, and staying at the Bodmin jail hotel was so unique! It has been restored well, with all the comforts... and more. I highly recommend this trip!

What a wonderful trip

What a wonderful trip! Cornwall was everything I hoped it would be and David took care of us, making sure we could see all the castles, fishing villages, ruins, historic spots, vistas, and much more. We had lovely accommodations and wonderful careful drivers. How they negotiated those narrow roads ..... I will recommend this adventure to everyone.

Loved Cornwall

Loved Cornwall! A beautiful place! We got to see so much. I loved the coastal path trails we walked on, the narrow roads, the flowers growing out of the stone walls, the ocean, the history….. Good size group. Good variety of activities. David is fun and well organized.

Great way to see Cornwall

David's tour hits most of the highlights of Cornwall and gives in depth knowledge of the area and its history. The size of the tour at 14 gives you a chance to meet and get to know everyone at some point on the trip. The format of the tour also gives a lot of time to explore on your own as well. Cornwall is amazingly beautiful and this tour was a perfect way to see a lot of it with very little stress.

This tour gave an informative overview of the area with a multitude of experiences. The group activities were balanced with free time to explore on your own. The guided activities were exceptional. David and the drivers were professional and a lot of fun!

I have met David and his group various times over the years when they visit my city. The groups from different countries and different age groups all seem to get on and are having a great time. It's always a pleasure to meet them

Wonderful visit to Cornwall

My wife and had a wonderful time on this trip to Cornwall. David is an incredible fountain of knowledge and he made the trip very entertaining and special. In addition, the scenery was spectacular and unforgetable. Loved the food, especially the pasties. People were great.

I experienced a trip of a lifetime with Dacey's Cornish tours. There is so much beauty in Cornwall if you are thinking about going choose Dacey's Cornish tours David was fun attentive and showed us a wonderful time. I could see how much he loved showing us everything. I loved the history of the Cornish people and the food was delicious. It was also nice being with a smaller group of very nice people.

David Warner provided us with a well organized small group tour of Cornwall. The tour was easy to book and David is very helpful with the details. We had great bus drivers navigating those narrow roads. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather although with gusts of wind on occasion. We spent the nights in nice hotels and castles. We enjoyed pasties and scones with clotted cream and jam. I had no idea what either of those were when I arrived. Delicious! We visited Port Issac and St Ives where Doc Martin was filmed. Beautiful spots with lovely people. Lots of walking and climbing but plenty of time to shop and rest. I had a wonderful time and happy to visit again if the opportunity presents itself.

The perfect tour. Small group tour, fun people, great tour guide. The places we visited were great and David made sure we did everything we wanted to do. I highly recommend Dacey's Cornish Tours if you want to see where Doc Martin was filmed, and where Poldark was filmed. We stayed in castles, went to beautiful little towns and met some wonderful people. Great memories for sure.

Small group tour of Cornwall

I started out looking for a small group tour of Cornwall and found Daceys. We met David Warner and he was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. We did lots of walking up and down many hills. Good walking shoes are a must. Saw many famous places. We did have good amount of time for shopping and eating the different foods. The scenery was amazing. Accommodation were great. The bus drivers were great on all those narrow roads. If you are looking for a small group tour in a beautiful location I would definitely choose Daceys Cornish Tours.

A wonderfully entertaining, informative and unique tour of Cornwall. So many small towns, charming settings and breathtaking locations come together on this tour, all without the tour feeling rushed. My wife and I are so glad we went! Full of information, but also plenty of time for personal exploration. Small group is led by a charming, knowledgeable but laid back guide/owner who knows how to keep things moving without us feeling pushed at all!
